Vitality Big Half – New Personal Best

This is just a quick post from the finish of this year’s Vitality Big Half. After twelve months of illness, I feel that I’m now back to my old self. This was confirmed today when I got a personal best in the 2019 Vitality Big Half.

It was quite a tough race, especially with the forecasted 50 mph winds that were on the course. But I managed not only to complete it, but smash my personal best by nearly three minutes. My chip time was 1:26:25!

I will write a full race debrief post in the very near future. I’m just over the moon at the moment about what I’ve achieved today.

Well done to everyone that turned up today and braved the weather for a fantastic race.
